Nov. 8, 2008. We had a Bon Voyage Party tonight with many friends coming over. It was great to eat, drink and hangout with everyone.
Nov. 9, 2008. Mellisa Fung, CBC reporter was released by rogue bandits in Afghanistan today after 28 days of being kidnapped. Shackled and blinded in near darkness in a hole in the ground. She was on the outside of Kabul, trying to interview refugees. A major cooperative effort was launched to gain her release. This is the same area that ACF works in to prevent malnution and diesase outbreaks.
